Day 1:-

Bangalore - Mysore (140 kms)
Mysore - Nanjangud - Gundlupet (60 kms) , Take right from gundlupet to go Sultan Bathery .

Gundlupet - Sultan Bathery (50 kms)

( ultimate road full of bamboo forest )

 

We visited Swayamboo temple( supposed to be 3000 years old ) but there is nothing much to see . This place comes some 5 km before Kalpetta .

 

Sultan Bathery - Kalpetta (10 kms) ..

 

Visited Edakkal Caves in kalpetta and wayanad museum.TO reach eddakal caves you have to go in a 4 wheel drive jeep . Personal vehicles go up to a point and from there you can share a jeep , i m sure u will not forget this jeep ride ever . You have to climb a little from the point jeep leaves you to reach Eddakal caves .

We stayed in Affas hotel ( 200 RS for a double bed room ).

 

Day 2 :-

Kalpetta - soochipara falls ( 20 Kms)
soochipara falls - Kalpetta ( 20 Kms)
Kalpetta -- pookot lake ( ?? ).
pookot lake -- banasura sagar dam
Banasura sagar dam - Through Kabini .
kabini wildlife sanctuary - mysore ( worst road of around 40 Kms ).
Mysore - Bangalore (140 Kms) .

Great trip on bike though a bit tiring . Road is feast for a motorbike enthusiast . Only while coming back through wild life sanctuary , road is worse but u may spot some deers and monkeys. There are some other places of interest as well but we dont have enough time to visit all.
